If you’re new to working with chocolate, using a compound chocolate is a good choice for beginning. Learn more about compound chocolate here. Our favorite compound chocolate is VanLeer Snaps. Shop here.

If you’re looking for the best tasting chocolate, go for the couverture chocolate. You’ll need to temper it, but you can learn how to do that here. Shop for couverture chocolate here.

And one more bit of advice, take care to only use Orange Oil when flavoring your chocolate. Using a water based flavoring will result in seized chocolate. This is our favorite Orange Oil.
