How to make brussel sprouts taste better

Brussels Sprouts get a bad rap. Even though they are super nutritious, for some reason people flee from them. I think it must be the unknown that keep some of us from them. At least, that’s why I had never tried them, until last night. Yep, last night I cooked them up for dinner, and to my surprise, they were pretty delicious.

Here’s what I did:

Wash, dry and cut the bottoms off of the sprouts, and then cut them in half. Peel off any leaves that are brown or wilted and place the sprouts onto a baking sheet.

Drizzle Extra Virgin Olive Oil on each of them so that the seasons will stick to them. I sprinkled salt, pepper and dried cilantro all over them. And for an extra delight, I drenched them in fresh squeezed lemon juice.

Bake them in the oven at 375 for 20 minutes.

And you have a delicious roasted vegetable for dinner!

Tell me what you think: Do you like Brussels Sprouts? Have you ever tried them? What’s your favorite way to cook them?
