What’s the Difference Between Flossine and Flossugar?

How to make cotton candy

We get asked a lot what the difference is between Flossine and Flossugar. A lot of people are confused as to what to buy when it comes to making cotton candy. Let us help you make the decision.

Flossine:

Flossine is the flavor that you want your cotton candy to be. It is a concentrated granular mix that NEEDS to have sugar added to it. Use 1-2 tablespoons of Flossine per ten pounds of sugar. When choosing a sugar to mix with flossine, choose a course sugar, not table sugar.

Fossugar:

Flossugar is a ready-to-use flavor mix for cotton candy. It is the flavor and the sugar all ready to go. So it makes life a little easier for you. One ounce of Flossugar makes approximately one cotton candy cone. So a half gallon carton will make 50-70 servings, depending on the operator.

Basically, you have two choices: Do you want to mix the flavor yourself, or do you want to have it ready-to-use? The choice is yours!
