Homemade Herbed Butter

There’s nothing quite like a loaf of warm homemade bread topped with a soft homemade herbed butter spread. We have a recipe that will take your average butter and transform it into the perfect accessory to any dish. Top your steak with it, flavor your pasta with it, or use it to flavor your rice pilaf, the options are endless.

What you’ll need

1 stick butter (softened)

1-2 tablespoons of your favorite spice blend

We love to use our Herbs De Provence, Sweet Garlic & Herb, or our Garlic Pepper spice blend. Try them all and let us know what your favorite herbed butter flavor is!

Herbed Butter with Spice Blends

To begin, combine the softened butter and herb blend in a mixing bowl. Stir together until they are thoroughly combined. Cut a square piece of plastic wrap and lay it on a flat surface. Spoon the butter mixture onto the plastic wrap in an even line.

Forming homemade herbed butter

Carefully wrap one side of the plastic wrap over the butter mixture, then roll the herbed butter in the plastic wrap to form a butter roll.

Rolling herbed butter

Twist the ends and refrigerate until the butter becomes firm.

Finished homemade herbed butter

When the butter has set, carefully remove the butter from the plastic wrap, place it on a dish, and enjoy!
