You just might say that popcorn is a health trend that’s been popping up for some time. If we had a nickel for every unhealthy thing we commonly buy at a supermarket, we could spend a lot of time at a nickel arcade. We recognize how hard it is to dodge those ding dongs and sugary cereals, but we are here to tell you how easy it is to dodge harmful, chemical-filled microwaveable popcorn.

Let’s talk convenience

Pre-bagged microwaveable is so easy. You can just toss it into the microwave and you’re all set. Well, we’ve actually got something equally effortless. You can still pop your kernels in the microwave with our microwavable popper. It collapses for easy storage!

Air poppers are probably the easiest way to make popcorn. You don’t ever burn the kernels, which is always a huge downsize to microwaveable popcorn! You also don’t leave with half your kernels unpopped in a bag.

Stovetop poppers are for those that love flavor. It’s the easiest method for making kettle corn and candied glazed corn. It might seem old school, but the sound of the popcorn popping in your pop is very satisfying.

Let’s talk flavor

A huge upside to ditching your microwavable popcorn is that you can control the flavor, calories, etc. Substitute butter with coconut oil or mist some flavored olive oil on for some great taste.

I was very impressed with this “recipe”. I used air-popped popcorn and baked it for almost 2 hours. It was so much yummier and crispier than usual. I am going to use this technique regularly. The only drawback is that you have to be patient! Thanks a lot for sharing this video. 🙂
